Chat Rules

Remeber all board rules are applicable in chat
Speak only in english
No Spamming of other channels or networks
Chat is a privilage not a right
The chat room has children as young as 10 visiting so keep it clean or take it to a different channel
Excessive use of caps will get you kicked from the channel. using caps is considered shouting and isnt wanted nor needed. Consider this kicking a warning.

Channel Ranks:

~ =	Headmaster
& =	Senior Staff (Deputy Headmistress, Director of Dicipline and Head of Houses)
@ =	Head boy, Head Girl and Senior Professors (Professors who have served a long time and those which have shown they can be trusted with channel power)
% =	Prefects, Trusted Long term members and Junior Professors (Junior Professors are new professors)
+ =	Channel Regulars, Random people who just got voiced to seperate them from the bots
=	Bots and people who have just joined but not been voiced

Op specific rules:
Bans set by Linkirc can be removed by any !, @ or % but are most likely to get re-added if there is a reason for them being there
bans set by another op can only be removed with their permission or by Darkbeholder or Professor Zhaan
Abuse of op power will lead to the loss of the power
Junior Professors will become Senior Professors once they can demonstrate trust to an acceptable level.
Other Chanel Rules will be added later

You can use any nickname you like on IRC however it might be best that it is related to your username or character name.
