Hufflepuff did once exist on HSOM in the early days but due to many unhappy people being placed in the house leaving or sending inapropriate emails to the administration the change from canon was decided upon when HSOM left EzBoard to move to its own domain (hsom.net). More details about this can be read in the Other FAQ page.
There was talk about bringing Hufflepuff back with the move to HSOM 3 but there was not enough interest and general board activity to facilitate the additional time required to bring it back. Perhaps one day Hufflepuff will return to HSOM
